An electric heating boiler is a boiler that is powered by electricity to generate heat. If you are off gas and oil supply, such an appliance is your only option. However, even if you are not off, you can still consider an electric heating system as a reasonable alternative to a gas or oil one.

Indeed, for large houses, small residential units are insufficient to generate enough heat and keep your home warm or cover your hot water needs.

In addition to greater power output, a commercial heating device features the following differences from the residential unit:

Residential electric heating boilers

Residential electric boilers are units of small-to-medium power output. Typically, the output of domestic units varies from 3 to 24 kW, which is sufficient for covering most residential hot water and heat-generating needs. With an average output of 12-15kW, these appliances are great for small houses. However, if you need to heat a studio or, for example, a two-bedroom flat, you may opt for an appliance of lower output. And vice versa.

General requirements for residential electric heating boiler connection and correct operating are as follows:
